    Following on from the success of our international TMNT Idents, we have just created a number of Motion Graphics shots for inclusion in the first set of promotional campaigns to push the brand new series of 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' in the UK. This included a 60" TV campaign that will broadcast across a number of national TV channels including ITV, Channel 5, Disney, & Cartoon Network.

    Our task was to create a number of high end graphics including close-ups of a 3D TMNT logo, as well as a number of 3D sets of a cityscape that needed to look dark and moody and also represent a similar style to the shows own look and feel. Some fun bits included name checks of each of the turtles where we were really able to go to town and integrate each of the characters in our own bespoke 3D set, with composited effects and even a few movie style lens flares to set the tone!

  • Nickelodeon Land

    To help promote the new Nickelodeon Land at Blackpool Pleasure Beach, we were asked to create a full 3D map of the new Nickelodeon Land theme park. Various sequences of the main rides were then created for inclusion in a TV show featuring the Hoffmeister himself Mr David Hasslehoff, who was there to officially open the theme park.

  • Go!Go!Go! nick jr

    The GoGoGo's are a brand new musical act produced by Mike Stock (Stock Aitken Waterman), and Steve Crosby, (Steps). Aimed at a young audience, their fun & catchy pop songs are sure to be a big hit with viewers.

    We worked with nickelodeon from the ground up to create a number of CGI music videos for the GoGoGo's. This has included working on original concepts & ideas for a 3D world in which the band will have their adventures, along with creating branding to fit in with the new nick jr look & feel.

    As well as designing and creating detailed 3D sets and the flying craft that the band get around in called the BumbleBug, we also worked with all of the green screen studio footage to composite & integrate the band in to our finished 3D sets.

    The first song 'Wake up Smiling' can be seen at 7am & 8am on nick jr, and more songs are soon to featured as interstitials through out the day.

    A logo design and animated sting created for the Adventure Weekends slot on Nick Jr. Aimed at a younger audience, the style is very much in keeping with the new Nick Jr brand. Each letter of the logo design is in keeping with the 'Adventure' theme. These include elements such as the mountain, boomerang, compass arrows and rope.

    When we were asked if we'd like to be involved in creating Def Leppard's new music video for their new single "Undefeated'. Of course, we jumped at the chance - who wouldn't, these guys are legends! This sequence was just to convey our ideas for a comic style super hero based storyline, and was purely created as an ideas pitch.

    The title sequence is a combination of 2D & 3D Motion Graphics. Pixel DNA were tasked with creating a glossy 3D version of the well known MasterChef logo, which was then used in a number of camera zooms and pans using moody lighting that really shows off all the shiny chrome detail. In the final resolve to the sequence that was created in HD, we see a hot bubbling MasterChef logo fizzing as it glows with heat.

    The title sequence is a combination of live action footage of the shows presenters, combined with Motion Graphics, which result in a fast paced journey where we follow the presenters making their way across a construction site, dodging slime and other falling obstacles! Pixel DNA were tasked with designing all of the shows design elements from the logo and the title sequence through to all of the shows graphical content and promotional materials.

  • Fruit Shoot Skills Awards

    The Skills Awards celebrates talented young people from across the UK with serious skills! Pixel DNA were responsible for the creative production of the show including the logo and brand design, initial concepts for the event stage layout, promotional materials including the event signage, TV ad's, Title Sequence & Category Bumpers, and even the design of the golden 'Skillies' award itself!

    Liaising with Nickelodeon's producers and Fruit Shoot's own brand team we worked from the ground upwards to deliver a fun and vibrant creative style that was in keeping with the Fruit Shoot brand, but that was also reflective of the shows theme. The end result is a bright colourful brand style with fast paced Motion Graphics used within the show and as the main title sequence.

    A set of CITV sponsorship idents created to promote the new Corgi car themed range. Each ident was created to represent a different range of Corgi cars, each with their own themes, including: Agriculture / Emergency / Construction / Military. The style of graphics was kept very simple to reflect the type of look and feel of imagery seen in the actual toy sets. Each ident shows a child's hand that is taking their toys on a make believe journey around our CGI environments.

    We’ve been working on lots of cool projects with Nickelodeon this year, and this was a recent set of graphics required to accompany a promo for a new show. ‘Supah Ninjas’ is an American Comedy-Action series that premiered in January 2011 on Nickelodeon. The show follows three friends who become a team of Ninjas to fight crime and battle against evil, and features the oroginal Star Treck’s very own George Takei. We were asked to take a number of clips from the show and create quick comic book style animations that matched each clip and were in the same style as the shows title sequence.
